We know that engagement rate is an important factor when you analyze influencers. With us, you don't have to do any calculations. Our AI calculates and compares engagement for you.

Engagement rates can vary across influencer marketing platforms. This depends on how the platform calculates engagement rate. At Heepsy, we only count interactions, not impressions.

Engagement filter

Use the engagement filter to find influencers with a specific engagement rate percentage. Use the slider to set the range you want.

Or, find influencers with a specific engagement score. Our AI compares influencers to their peers with similar followings. Engagement scores can be low, average, high, very high, or suspiciously high.

Engagement metrics on profiles

On influencer profiles, you see their engagement rate in two places. First, you can find it at the left-hand side in their core stats.

Where the engagement rate appears on the influencer profile.

You can also get more detail in the Publications tab, as seen in the image below.

Tips for analyzing influencer engagement

Beware of low engagement, which shows a lack of interest and/or fake followers. Watch out for suspiciously high engagement, too. It can be a sign of fake interactions.

However, keep in mind that engagement rate averages can vary by category. For example, fashion influencers don't have the same engagement averages as travel influencers. So what’s good in one category may be average in another.

Engagement rate (score and percentage) is a core metric, so it comes included in all our plans. But the engagement filter only comes in the Business Plan or Gold Plan.
